There's editing. The shots of skeptical, bored faces may have actually been thrown in from any other point during the show. And it may have been a set-up. There seems to be one of these every season.
Still. Watching an underdog, hands visibly shaking, experience the amazement of being unreservedly cheered by an entire stadium ... there's nothing like it.
I wish every Jonathan could have that experience, just once.
And wholehearted honour to every Charlotte who is, without a doubt, a hero among friends.
